Dk Yusimah is a lecturer from Learning Sciences and Technology academic group at Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education. Her areas of expertise are on Pedagogy and Primary Education. Currently, her teaching modules are Master of Teaching (Primary) on Social Studies, subject specialist for Social Studies for Master of Teaching (Primary), Current Issues and Trends in Education and General Methods of Teaching for Diploma in Education and Diploma in Technical Education (In-service teacher). Dk Yusimah had her Bachelor of Arts (BA) Primary in Education from Universiti Brunei Darussalam and Master of Arts (MA) in Education from University of Wales Institute of Cardiff, United Kingdom. She will pursue for PhD in Education near the future. Her research interests are primary and secondary education particularly on student learning skills, student engagement, classroom management and class sizes. Currently, she also involved as assistant programme leader in School Partnership and deputy chair for Social Welfare committee.
