Assistant Lecturer, Institute for Biodiversity and Environmental Research
Rafhiah Kahar is an assistant lecturer who have been teaching environmental education on tropical biodiversity and conservation at the Kuala Belalong Field Studies Centre since 2005. She is passionate about biodiversity conservation and since 2013 she started getting involved in research through several collaborative projects. She has since developed an interest in freshwater ecology and have been studying aquatic invertebrates and fishes. Currently, she is undertaking a research project is on the reproductive ecology of cyprinid fishes for her PhD thesis.
