My initial research activities were related to Operation Research in 1996. While doing my M.Sc thesis in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Dhaka, I carried out research on Comparative Study and Modification of Some Algorithms for Solving Multi-Objective Linear Programming Problems. Later on I published my research outcome in Ganit Journal, published by Bangladesh Mathematical Society.
In 2004, I attended M. Phil. in the department of Mathematics at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). In my M. Phil. research, I studied a New Approach to Partial Differential Approximants. My research outcome was published in the Bangladesh Ganit Journal. During that time I was not aware of indexed journals.
I carried out my doctoral research on computational fluid dynamics in 2009 from the department of Mathematics at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). In my Ph.D research, I studied a heat transfer problems using finite element method. My research outcome was published in the International Journals.
In 2010, I have received post-doctoral research fellow at University of Malaya, Malaysia. In my post-doctoral period, I have developed my research for variety of engineering applications such as in the cooling of electronic devices, heat exchanger, solar collector, geothermal reservoirs, cooling of nuclear reactors, thermal insulations and petroleum reservoirs. Also, I have made collaboration with some renowned researcher. During my post-doctoral period, I have published many ISI papers.
Finally, in 2013 I have got Visiting Research Fellowship at University of Malaya, Malaysia. In this period, I expanded my research on a new topic nanofluid for enhanced heat transfer. Some papers in this topic have been published and accepted for publication in high impact Journals.
