Dr. Muhammad Raziq Rahimi Kooh is a lecturer in adsorption science at the Centre for Advanced Material and Energy Sciences at Universiti Brunei Darussalam. Dr. Kooh obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the same university where his research focused on the treatment of textile dye wastewater.
Over the years, Dr. Kooh has conducted extensive research in several areas, including SERS nanomaterials, water sensor fabrication, organic waste degradation, valorization of waste materials, and machine learning algorithms in wastewater treatment. His expertise in these fields has led to the publication of more than 50 articles in international peer-reviewed journals
Dr. Kooh is also a dedicated reviewer of international journals. He has completed more than 400 assignments as a peer reviewer, contributing to the advancement of research in his field. Currently, he is an academic editor for two prestigious journals, Plos One and Adsorption Science and Technology, further cementing his reputation as a respected member of the scientific community.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Kooh has also collaborated with CIC Environmental Services, a well-known environmental services company, to develop innovative solutions for wastewater treatment.
