My primary research interest lies on the investigation of cell signalling mechanisms of chemokine receptors which are a subgroup of G-protein-coupled receptors, particularly chemokine receptor CXCR4. I am interested in how the expression of these receptors is regulated on the cell surface and how they activate heterotrimeric G-proteins and other intracellular cell signalling pathways to induce cell migration, including the roles of Protein Kinase C and Arrestins, during my PhD. Whilst I was doing her PhD, I was working part time for Boots Pharmacy during the weekends, so that I would gain more experience and kept updated of Pharmacy news.

EDUCATION

I obtained MPharm degree in School of Pharmacy at University of East Anglia, Norwich UK. I then did my pre-registration with Boots Pharmacy, one of the largest chains of community pharmacy at United Kingdom. I was hired by Boots Management as soon as I passed my pre-registration examination, whom I worked for 1.5 years to gain experience. I then went on to undertake a PhD with Dr Anja Mueller at the School of Pharmacy at University of East Anglia, Norwich UK.
