Currently served as a Assistant Professor at Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education (SHBIE), Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) since 1998. He earned his first degree at UBD, Master of Education at The University of Hull, United Kingdom and Doctor of Philosophy in Education at The International Islamic University of Malaysia. Over 20 years he taught many programmes from diploma, degree, and master levels in education and teaching with area of specialization such as teaching pedagogy, curriculum, and assessment in History, Civics, Social Studies and Malay Islamic Monarchy (Melayu Islam Beraja/MIB). He has supervised number of students from Master of Education, Master of Teaching and PhD. In addition, he also have broad experience in teaching supervision and publish few research and book chapters in locally and internationally.
