Armah Tengah is Programme Leader for Nursing and Midwifery Programmes since 2013 till present and Lecturer at PAPRSB Institute of Health Sciences, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. She had her general nurse training at the PAPRSB College of Nursing, Brunei Darussalam and completed the course in 1991. She then pursued her studies at Anglia Polytechnic University, United Kingdom for the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Community Nursing with Education and graduated in the year 1995. She was then worked as an Education Officer (Nursing and Midwifery) at the PAPRSB College of Nursing for 13 years. She obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery in the year 2000 at the RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. In 2006 she obtained her Master in Educational Management at Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
Since the integration of PAPRSB College of Nursing to PAPRSB Institute of Health Science in 2009, she has been appointed as Lecturer in 2011. Since her involvement in academic profession, she has experienced in developing undergraduate nursing and midwifery programmes and advanced diploma in health sciences (Community Health Nursing) programme. Her current research involvement are related to aging, global health, child poverty and women’s reproductive health issues.
